Why Lithium Matters
Every EA Carts model runs on lithium battery technology — not lead-acid. That single decision changes the ownership experience. Lithium packs weigh less, charge faster, last 5-10x longer in cycle life, and deliver consistent voltage from full charge to empty. No watering, no corrosion, no replacing batteries every 3-4 years. The upfront cost is higher; the total cost of ownership is dramatically lower.
Street-Legal LSV Options
Most EA Carts models ship with the lighting, mirrors, seat belts, and safety features required for low-speed vehicle (LSV) registration. An LSV can legally operate on public roads with posted speed limits of 35 mph or below in most U.S. states. This makes EA Carts a practical daily driver in golf cart communities, beach towns, retirement villages, and suburban neighborhoods — not just a recreational vehicle.
How to Choose the Right Model
Start with two questions: how many passengers, and what terrain? For golf course use, the EA2GOLF keeps things simple. For neighborhood and community driving with a family of four, compare the EA4F (forward-facing) and EA4R+ (rear-facing) layouts. For property owners with dirt roads, trails, or hills, the EA4X4 72V is the only 4x4 option. For large families or commercial shuttle use, the EA6R+ 72V carries six.
