Charging, delivery, service and coverage, explained before your configuration becomes an order.
Charging
Every cart charges in 7–9 hours on a standard 120V household outlet. Onboard charger built into the cart — plug into any standard 120V household outlet. Each model page lists its battery.
Ask our team to confirm the outlet and charging setup for your chosen model before delivery.

Delivery
Delivery anywhere in Indiana is free; elsewhere in the lower 48 it is quoted on your estimate by region ($500–$2,500), and Alaska and Hawaii are quoted individually. Your cart travels on EA Carts’ own enclosed trailer or with a vetted carrier we schedule and coordinate.
Your delivery window is confirmed by our delivery coordinator once the cart is ready. How delivery works.

Service anywhere we deliver
Every EA Cart includes a one-year warranty on all parts, plus lifetime coverage for the battery and keys. Covered parts can be shipped directly to the customer, the customer's chosen repair facility, or the technician completing the work.
Under the standard warranty, EA Carts supplies covered parts at no charge and the customer is responsible for repair labor. An upgraded warranty covers both parts and labor for the selected term and will typically be handled through a qualified repair facility.
Built to the federal low-speed-vehicle equipment standard (FMVSS 500) with a 25 mph top speed. Where you can drive one, and whether you need a title, registration, insurance and a license, is set by your state and city, so check local rules before you buy.
Questions
Questions buyers ask.
Answers come from EA Carts’ published warranty, terms and delivery policies. Local road rules vary, so check yours.
Are EA Carts street legal in Indiana (and my state)?
It depends on where you drive: every EA cart is LSV-ready, but whether a street legal golf cart or low-speed vehicle may use a given road is decided by your state and city, not by the cart.
Built to the federal low-speed-vehicle equipment standard (FMVSS 500) with a 25 mph top speed. Where you can drive one, and whether you need a title, registration, insurance and a license, is set by your state and city, so check local rules before you buy.
In Indiana, golf-cart road use is set by local ordinance, and a low-speed vehicle needs a title and registration through the BMV. Ask our team what paperwork comes with your cart before you order.
What is an LSV and how is it different from a golf cart?
A low-speed vehicle (LSV) is a federal vehicle class: four wheels, a top speed above 20 and no more than 25 mph, a gross weight under 3,000 lb, and the safety equipment listed in FMVSS 500, such as lights, mirrors, seat belts and a windshield.
A golf cart does not have to meet that standard, which is why road use for golf carts is usually limited by local rules. EA carts are LSV-ready with a 25 mph top speed; your delivery paperwork includes the manufacturer's certificate of origin.
Do I need a license, registration and insurance?
For public roads, generally yes: you need a valid driver's license, registration with your state's DMV or BMV, and liability insurance.
Registration typically requires a title, a registration fee and the required safety equipment. Insurance is not mandated for off-road use, but it is advisable to protect against theft, damage or accidents. Check with your local DMV for the rules where you live.
How fast does it go, and can it be changed?
Every EA cart has a 25 mph top speed; the Golf Bike is rated up to 25 mph and the E-Bike up to 20 mph.
Changing the speed is a modification. Damage caused by unauthorized modifications is not covered by the EA warranty, and modifications that affect compliance are the owner's responsibility under EA's Terms & Conditions.
How far does it go on a charge with four or six people and hills?
Published ranges are rated maximums: about 40–45 miles for the EA2GOLF, EA4R+, EA4F+ and EA6R+, and 45–50 miles in 2WD or 35–40 miles in 4WD for the EA4X4.
Passengers, hills, heat or cold, speed and tires all shorten real-world range, so plan on less than the rated figure with a full cart on hilly routes.
How long do the lithium batteries last, and what does the lifetime battery program cover?
Every new EA cart includes the Lifetime Key & Battery Replacement Program, administered by Axiom Product Administration: it covers battery replacement for as long as the original purchaser owns the cart, up to $2,500 in total replacement cost, with pre-authorization required before service. Coverage is non-transferable and ends if the cart is sold or transferred to another owner.
Key: replacement of a lost or damaged key fob remote, under the program terms.
EA does not publish a battery life figure. Lithium-ion packs need little upkeep: keep them clean and the connections tight, and follow the owner's manual. Full program terms are provided at purchase. The Golf Bike and the E-Bike each carry a 1-year battery warranty.
What does the warranty cover and for how long?
New EA carts carry a 1-year factory warranty on eligible parts, including the charger and controller; labor is not included.
Optional 3-, 5- and 7-year parts-and-labor plans cost $750, $1,000 and $1,200, must be bought within 30 days of purchase, and carry a $50 deductible per covered repair. The golf cart warranty is non-transferable and does not cover damage caused by abuse, accidents, neglected maintenance or unauthorized modifications. See the full warranty page for details.
What is the total price: delivery, tax, title and paperwork?
The price shown is for the vehicle. Applicable sales tax and delivery are added and confirmed on your written estimate and purchase agreement before you sign or pay.
Delivery anywhere in Indiana is free; elsewhere in the lower 48 it is quoted on your estimate by region ($500–$2,500), and Alaska and Hawaii are quoted individually. Your cart travels on EA Carts' own enclosed trailer or with a vetted carrier EA schedules, and the delivery coordinator confirms your window once the cart is ready. Title and registration fees are paid to your state when you register.
Do you offer financing?
Financing is available through Synchrony, Magwitch and local banks; apply online or ask for an application with your estimate. See /financing.
If you finance, any refund or credit under the return policy is paid directly to the financing company, and an exchange requires a new financing contract.
Who services my cart if I do not live near Carmel?
Start with the EA Carts team: we review the model, your location and the issue, then explain the supported service path.
EA pays standard ground shipping for approved warranty parts within the contiguous United States.
There are four paths to resolution: you handle it with our help (parts shipped to your home, with installation videos, video calls and step-by-step guidance); your shop or our network (we ship parts to the repair shop you trust, or Axiom Warranty Group can locate a participating facility within approximately 100 miles of your home); we send an EA technician if the local facility cannot complete the repair; and if a covered failure cannot be restored to proper operating condition, EA Carts provides a brand-new replacement vehicle when eligible under the manufacturer warranty.
Can I test drive or return it?
Yes, you can test drive at our Carmel, Indiana facility by appointment, and we encourage it, because carts built to your specifications are final sale.
A new cart may be returned or exchanged within 2 days of delivery or before it has been driven 10 miles, whichever comes first, if it is in excellent, unused condition; a $1,995 restocking fee and any discounts applied are deducted, original shipping is non-refundable, and you return the cart to Carmel at your cost. Inspect the cart at delivery and note any damage on the delivery paperwork, then report concealed transit damage in writing with photos within 48 hours so EA can file the carrier claim. See the returns page for the full policy.
Which model fits me: 4-seat, 6-seat or 4x4?
Choose by who rides and where: the EA4F+ seats four facing forward, the EA4R+ seats four with a rear bench that folds into a flatbed, the EA6R+ carries six across three rows, and the EA4X4 adds four-wheel drive.
For two people on the course, the EA2GOLF is the dedicated two-seater. Compare them side by side, or text us who rides and where, and we will narrow it down.
